Adopting from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton doesn't only help an animal find a forever family; it also makes good financial sense for you. All of our pets are:
- Spayed or neutered
- Up to date on shots and medical care

- Receive daily socialization and love
When you adopt, you'll receive a starter food packet, cat or dog collar, information on local vets and pet supply stores and other relevant brochures on issues like declawing, housetraining and other topics.

Small Animal Adoption Application
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton follows a variable pricing model for adoption fees. Adoption fees for dogs range from $75 to $300. Cat adoption fees range from $45 to $75. Fees are based on breed, age, special needs and length of stay at the shelter. Montgomery County dog licenses are an additional $20.75
